It is the fifth film for Karu Palaniappan after his family drama ‘Pirivom Sandhippom’. The director who is know for selecting offbeat themes has also done ‘Parthiban Kanavu’, ‘Sathurangam’, and ‘Sivappathigaram’. This time Karu Palaniappan is directing a film with fresh faces for 7th channel.

The director prepared a script for Dhanush and named it as ‘Ashokamithran’ but then sadly the project was shelved. The director has dusted out this titled, and is now using it for this upcoming flick with debutants. Cinematography is taken care of by Rajesh Yadhav, while other infos about the film are yet to be made official.

Our question is so natural… Will the director reuse even the screenplay of his ‘Ashokamithran’? We might have to hold our patience till we hear more from our reliable sources.
